Most cats accept short, calm brushing better than a long session. Stop if the cat leaves.
Steps
- Work on a towel you can wash. Have a lint tool nearby for the towel and your clothes.
- For medium and long hair, use the 9-blade side to detangle and demat, then the 17-blade side to deshed. The brush is also listed for dogs, bunnies, and horses with long, double, or wiry coats.
- Wipe the face area with a soft pad if the cat allows it. Eye wipe pads are 100 wipes, 8oz. Do not put liquid into the eye.
- Wipe the visible ear flap only. Ear wipes are 50 wipes, 9oz.
- Lift hair from the towel and nearby furniture when you finish.
