Dog beds hold hair, dander, and dirt from the floor. Read the bed's own label before you wash it.
Steps
- Take the bed outside and knock loose dirt off. Lint-tool the cover while it is dry.
- Unzip the cover if it separates. Wash the cover on the cycle the label lists.
- For a machine that runs pet bedding often, put one washer-cleaning tablet in the empty drum. Do not put the tablet in the detergent drawer. Run Normal with hot water or the Clean Washer cycle.
- Dry the cover fully before you stuff it again so the foam or fill does not stay damp.
